Whether you want an A-line, form-fitting, or ballgown silhouette, we can bring your ideas to life. You’ll also have the opportunity to choose from a wide variety of luxurious fabrics, including different types of silk, high-quality polyester, and elegant lace, organza, and chiffon, ensuring your gown is truly unique. As part of the design process, you'll enjoy a fun and memorable experience in creating your perfect wedding dress. We can also custom-design a veil and accessories to complement your gown.

Custom Gowns

One of the challenges at weddings is finding a unique and beautiful gown for the mother of the bride or mother of the groom. Unfortunately, many available designs are either too outdated or too revealing, which doesn't suit a mom who wants to look elegant and chic. We can help you find the perfect design, color, and fabric to flatter your shape. We know how to accentuate your best features while subtly concealing the areas you'd like to minimize, ensuring you feel both beautiful and confident.

Custom Pageant Outfits

Every year, many girls and women compete in various pageants, and we are so proud to help them create their own unique pageant gowns, runway looks, or interview dresses.

Custom Accessories

Beside custom gowns, we also offer custom accessories such as veil, hat, clutch, ring bearer pillow that can be made out of your leftover wedding gown or a loved one's gown, bow or headband. For groom and best man, we can make a custom tie based on the colors of your wedding and a design that makes a memorable gift for you. We also offer custom-designed fabrics and scarves if you want a very special dress made of your unique fabric design.

Redesign

If you'd like to redesign your mom's vintage wedding gown and transform it into a charming rehearsal dinner or reception dress, we can help make that happen. Whether you want to add sleeves (detachable or fixed), incorporate a slit into the skirt, raise the back, cover the neckline, or add lace appliqués, we can explore all the possibilities. Based on the design and fabric of your gown, we'll guide you through the process to create a custom look that’s perfect for you.

Bustles

A bustle is typically created by fastening the train of the wedding dress to the rest of the gown, allowing the bride to walk freely without the risk of tripping. The bustle is usually added after the ceremony and photos, before the reception begins. While guests enjoy cocktail hour, the bride takes a break to bustle her gown, ensuring that she can move and dance easily during the reception and for the first dance.

At Bahar & Reza, we offer several bustle options and help you choose the best one based on your wedding dress design and desired look.

There are three main bustle designs:

• American Bustle (also known as Over or Traditional Bustle): This bustle is ideal for lace or chiffon wedding gowns. It typically involves a set of buttons and loops, with the loops attaching to the buttons. If the train is particularly large and the buttons are placed at the waist, this bustle is sometimes referred to as a "ballgown bustle."
• French or Under Bustle: Perfect for satin, taffeta, or crepe wedding gowns, this bustle is the most secure option. It uses a set of ribbons, each numbered for easy matching, allowing you to tie them together in the correct order.
• Bubble Bustle: This bustle is ideal for gowns with intricate designs where you don’t want to add additional volume or complexity to the train. It's a simple, secure bustle that doesn’t alter the look of the train significantly. Like the French bustle, it uses a set of numbered ribbons for easy tying.

We always make sure to train you on how to bustle your gown on the wedding day. We'll guide you through the process and allow you to practice before the event. We also encourage you to record a video so that if you forget any steps, you can refer to it as needed. The following are examples of the bustle designs:
